Sunday, Aug. 9 at Emo’s (603 Red River, 474-5370) for the inaugural Barpie Pizza Eating Contest.
There’s a $10 entrance fee, but the winner could take home $350, and the runner up gets a $100 bar tab and probably several new best friends. Sign up at Stony’s or Emo’s. Doors at 6:30pm, contest at 7pm sharp. Two dollar Lone Stars and Sierra draft. The Method Man/Redman/Ghostface Killah show is later that night.
