Halloween Train: Your Definitive Guide to the ATX Madness

If you know me at all, you realize that I have an addiction to dressing up/theme parties/generally winning at life.  Each year Halloween is a debacle.. where do we go? what do we wear?  will there be four other skanky st. paulis girls there? No matter how high my expectations, this city always does me one better. Seriously cross eyed from putting this together. If you have nothing to do this weekend, it will still be too much. Halloween specific items in orange will be at the top of the gig list and those in purple are kid friendly.

This is like the mother of all party trains. For you Halloween Freaks, zombie balls, vampire nights, dolls from the crypt, fantasy balls, zombie fuzz club, pet costume contests, fish fry and scaraoke, monster bashes, kids pumpkin carving and a balkan gypsy costume dance party. For those of you who choose to abstain, a few things to choose from: KGSR Lonestar State of Mind, The Pogues, Sea Wolf, St, Cloud, Soul Track Mind, Owly City, Widespread Panic, Race for the Cure, Gogol Bordello, NERD and the kickoff of yelp drinks week. While you’re puzzling over what to do, enjoy the below:

Have a fabulous and safe Halloween everyone.  If you want Halloween and nothing but Halloween, click here.  If i missed something, let me know. Actually, don’t. I can’t look at anymore orange font 🙂 Plus I’m totally jealous that all these amazing things are happening while I tailgate for 10 hours on Saturday.

Yours in confusion over the Zombie trend,

Kelly

P.S. Let me know if the orange is too hard to read
